Dr. Brett Fountain, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert DN graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Brett has a strong interest in orthopedics stemming from being an avid marathon runner prior to attending physical therapy school and became a Certified Orthopedic Specialist from the American Physical Therapy Association in 2018.
He has been a licensed physical therapist for the past 10 years. During that time, he completed an extensive post graduate study program to become an orthopedic specialist. Currently he is studying advanced techniques to regain normal joint movement of the shoulder post rotator cuff injury, with an emphasis on the prevention of future injuries with proper muscle sequencing and engagement.
Brett is passionate about continuing his education and has extensive post-doctoral training on the evaluation and manual treatment of the cervical and lumbar spine, as well as updated surgical techniques and outcomes for anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) repairs. In addition to his clinical work, he has served as a clinical instructor for numerous students before joining Connect Pelvic: he takes great pride in teaching and using specialized techniques and methods that are not typically covered in standard physical therapy curricula with our patients.
Brett moved to Georgia in 2018. When not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife, son, Carter, and daughter, Addy. Brett and his family enjoy being active outdoors and can be found at most Sunday afternoon Braves games.
Hi! My name is Jared and I’ve been a PTA since 2020. When I’m not working with patients, I love to be active. I’ve been doing martial arts since I was a child and is something I still practice to this day including boxing, taekwondo, and Muay Thai to name a few. I moved from Pennsylvania in 2023 with my wife and had a son since being here in Atlanta who, along with my two dogs, takes up the remainder my time.
